"Tom Green Rifles"
For busy, mature players who enjoy the realism of this game, but not all the bureaucracy and demands that can take the fun out of playing. A perfect place for players who are new to the game and need a company to join. (If you do not belong to a company just know players in the game will keep asking you to join their company.)

*We prefer that you already own the game or plan to purchase it soon. You can still join our company without a purchase, but you will be listed as a volunteer recruit until you can play the game.

**Volunteer list is checked regularly. Priority will be given to recruits who actually create a realistic biography. If your bio shows your immaturity expect to be rejected.

Recruits who are accepted will be promoted to private. We also welcome experienced players who are looking for less constrictions on their time. We are a more mobile force rather than the traditional line battle company.

4th Texas Company B is owned by a native Texan.

Tom Green Rifles history:
The company known as the Tom Green Rifles was organized at Austin, Tex., early in the spring of 1861. It was named in honor of Col. Tom Green, who lived in Austin at the time and a veteran of the Texas and Mexican Wars. The Tom Green Rifles was one of the first companies organized in the State. It was composed of merchants, lawyers, clerks, mechanics, and farmers. They first went into camp of instruction on the San Marcos River, in Hays County, and later on at Harrisburg, near Houston.
