This certificate is awarded as a testimonial of Honest
and Faithful Service to this country.

Do to a severe head wound, received while gallantly leading
a charge, 2nd Lt Fritz was found unconscious on the
hallowed ground after the engagement was concluded.
It was discovered that he had been accidentally hit by a
Rifle Butt of an unknown German Ranger.
The Medical Staff did their outmost, but sadly 2nd Lt Fritz is
no longer fit for duty. Currently he is on his way to the madhouse for medical treatment of the mental insane, while he
repeatedly mumbles of „Mecklenburg“.
Apparently „Mecklenburg“ is an area in Germany
where his family originally comes from.
